For over half a century, JCC has led the market as a dedicated manufacturer of electrode foil for aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Our “unique technology” continues to keep our world-class ranking.
Looking back, the history of JCC has meant as a development of electronics. Capacitors are used in nearly all electronic circuits and electrical appliances as indispensable components in circuit amplification and in regulating the current flow of various power supplies. Of these, the aluminum electrolytic capacitors that use our products have excellent power storage and usability, and are a powerful tool when miniaturization and high voltages are required, and so are used extremely widely, from home appliances such as televisions and videos, through hybrid cars, to large inverters and converters. The aluminum electrode foil manufactured by JCC is used by a wide range of capacitor manufacturers around the world as an important electrode component that determines the performance of aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
The market is currently facing a major period of transition. This is an era in which global market competition has intensified alongside Asian economic growth headed by China and the rapid evolution of information technology, and high quality at a same time. Faced with this competition and revolution, JCC is aiming for a “second business establishment” based on technical development prowess and a sturdy business system cultivated over these past 50 years as an independent company, to grasp the opportunities presented by this period of change, and to meet the challenges for new growth through company-wide efforts. To prioritize the needs of this era, which changes moment by moment, and to meet them speedily, our plan is for “thorough inculcation of customer needs” and “reinforcement of in-house personnel training” as the core of fully attaining wide-range technical skills. Further, we shall also continue our challenges as the market leader in peripheral fields in the future, as well as pursuing aluminum electrode foil technology as a “technical group that functionalizes the surfaces of electronic materials” that contribute to society through original technology, while also pouring our efforts into environmental countermeasures, which are a social requirement on a global scale, and the expansion of networks both in Japan and other countries.
